Imaging: Our radiology department is well-equipped with a C-Arm for intra-operative imaging, colour Doppler, mammography, orthopantomogram, sonography and X-ray machine. Special procedures like barium study, intravenous urography and myelography are also available.

Pathology: We offer a wide range of laboratory investigations in our biochemistry, clinical pathology, cytology, haematology, histopathology, microbiology and serology sections. Each sub-department has equipments facilitating testing procedures, such as a semi-automated biochemistry analyzer, fully-automated electrolyte analyzer, blood gas analyzer, coulters, Elisa reader, automatic Elisa well-washer and automatic tissue processor and microtome.

Other equipment that aids diagnosis in specific departments includes an audiometry machine (ENT), 2D Echo cardiography, computerised ECG and TMT machines (cardiology), bio-feedback therapy and EEG machines (neuropsychiatry) and an auto-refractometer, autoperimeter, ultrasound A & B equipment and direct and indirect ophthalmoscopes (ophthalmology).

The licensed blood bank attached to our pathology laboratory is a source of life-saving blood for victims of road traffic accidents occurring in the hilly terrain around Mount Abu, as well as a life support measure for surgery and anaemia patients seeking indoor treatment.

The blood bank is fully equipped with collection monitors, tube sealer and temperature regulated refrigerators.

In order to comply with the stringent regulations controlling the supply of safe blood, blood donors are fully examined and blood is screened to exclude the presence of HIV, HBsAg, HCV, syphilis and the malarial parasite prior to transfusions.

The Global Hospital Blood Bank lays much emphasis on encouraging voluntary blood donation. To this end, it conducts blood donation camps and organises programmes to motivate voluntary donors at regular intervals.
