Hospital-based Programmes

At Global Hospital, no patient has ever been turned away for want of money to pay for their treatment.

Associations with donor agencies and government programmes (see accreditation / care of patients) as well as a few internal funds (as described below) help meet the cost of delivering health services to the poor.

GiveIndia

Since 2009, GiveIndia has been contributing towards the salaries of a gynaecologist, paediatrician and radiologist. Also, for gynaecological operations, trauma care, CT scans, and nutritional support for poor tuberculosis patients.

The Smile Train

Since 2006, The Smile Train has been covering the cost of cleft lip and/or cleft palate corrective surgery for children from poor families.

Juvenile Patients Fund

Since 2008, the Juvenile Patients Fund has been covering the cost of diagnostics and treatment for children from poor families.

Dialysis Patients Fund

Since 2014, the Dialysis Patients Fund has been covers the cost of dialysis for poor patients.
